Abstract

Three compositions that experiment with unusual scales, time signatures, and harmonic progressions. "Nixon is a Maniac" reflects feelings of resentment toward several college administrators. "Military Man" was conceived as a response to both the onslaught of hi-tech "progress" at the expense of the earth and its peoples and political developments in Grenada and Nicaragua.
