Abstract
An exterior view of Kalamazoo College's Upjohn Library. The new library, designed by Edward Coe Embury and completed in 1967, was built with contemporary features such as an audio-visual center, rare book and college archives rooms, carpeted study areas to seat 700 students, and air conditioning. It was named for the Upjohn family, long-time supporters of the College. This is photographer Douglas Lyttle's negative no. 9363CN.
