Kalamazoo College's old football field at night. This photograph appears on page 51 of the 1942 "Boiling Pot" yearbook. The field was one of the first in Michigan to have lights installed for nighttime use. When the property for the new Angell Field was acquired in 1945, the City of Kalamazoo received title to the old field, and it was then used for the reconstruction of West Michigan Avenue.
