A tennis player raising the American flag during the National Junior and Boys' Tennis Championship (also known as the USTA Boys 18 & 16 National Tennis Championships), which took place from July 31 to August 5, 1950. The annual tournament, held at Kalamazoo College since 1943, brings the best of teenage men's tennis players from throughout the United States and overseas. The players in this picture, taken at the Stowe Tennis Stadium, are not identified, nor is the photographer.
