Dr. Richard Stavig held the following positions at the college: Assistant Professor of English, 1955-1958; Associate Professor of English, 1958-1963; Professor of English, 1963-1992; Professor Emeritus of English, 1992-; Director of Foreign Study, 1962-1970; Dean of Off-Campus Education, 1967-1974.
