    This historical timeline poster was created for display at the Kalamazoo Public Library in the fall of 2008 as part of the College's 175th Anniversary celebrations. It consists of information from the Kalamazoo College Archives collections.

    Budweimer poster

    A student-produced poster take-off on the Budweiser beer advertisements. References include President Weimer K. Hicks, Kalamazoo College's affiliation to the Michigan Baptist and American Baptist conventions, the College's off-campus and study abroad programs in Caen and Aix-en-Provence, France; Madrid, Spain; and Muenster, Germany. The "Most Gracious" phrase references the inscription over the east entrance to the Trowbridge residence hall, "The end of learning is gracious living." Buildings named include Welles Hall (dining and student center), Light Fine Arts Building, Mandelle (administration building), Stetson Chapel, Dewing (classroom building), and Upjohn Library. Published in the 1968-1970 era.
